This special website is the Waterloo Catholic District School Board’s one-stop shop for information, resources and news concerning sustainable development activities in Waterloo Region’s Catholic Schools.
As you will see when reading our Sustainable Development Policy, we are actively addressing long-term sustainability in the following key areas: Energy & Water; Purchasing & Waste; Buildings & Grounds; Food & Drink; Inclusion & Participation; and, Local Well-being.
This is in keeping with our mission and vision:

Special Note: Ontario EcoSchools Program
Beginning in September, 2010 a major portion of this website will be devoted to the Ontario EcoSchools Program. Our goal is to ensure every single one of Waterloo Region’s Catholic Schools is certified BRONZE under the Ontario EcoSchools Program by 2015.
